Senior Associate, Tax & Compliance - Finance
Kuala Lumpur • Business • PermanentThis role plays a pivotal role in the company’s day-to-day operations and long-term strategy beyond compliance and filing tax returns.
Job Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Banking and other relevant discipline
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in tax & compliance roles within the financial spectrum, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Should possess strong competencies in local taxation and accurately handle financial documents.
- Display the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in problem-solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all tax-related compliance for the Group of Companies, including but not limited to sales and service tax, corporate tax, withholding tax and any other relevant taxes.
- Liaise with tax agent on yearly tax computations and the periodic updates.
- Prepare monthly tax computations for the monthly recording of tax expenses.
- Prepare all documents in relation to the Group’s transfer pricing and any related transfer pricing matters.
- Conduct group tax planning and optimise the Group’s tax position.
- Take charge of any tax-related queries or reviews/audits by the authorities.
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as allocated.
